8.04.1783 Issued a Manifesto of Catherine II on the annexation of Crimea to Russia
April 8, in 1783, was issued a Manifesto of Catherine II on the annexation of Crimea to Russia. From istoricheskoi help we know that Grigory Potemkin, appreciated raimunda reunification of the Crimea with Russia, and decided to lay it out in his letter to Catherine II:
"Crimea position their breaks our borders. Put now that the Crimea is Yours, and that there is no already this warts on the nose - that suddenly the position of the boundary beautiful: bug Turks bordering with us directly, and therefore the case should be with us right themselves, and not under the name of others... You must exalt the glory of Russia...".
As a result, on 8 April 1783 he was issued a Manifesto of Catherine II on the annexation of Crimea to Russia. The Manifesto was prepared by Prince Potemkin. In this document the Crimean inhabitants of the promised Holy and steadfast for himself and successors to the throne of our to keep them at par with our natural subjects, to protect and defend their persons, property, temples and natural their faith...".
